10th grade trip to Af Am History Museum in DC

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Camp and I am a 10th grade history teacher at George Washington HS in the Somerton section of Philadelphia. My class of African American history focuses on the experiences, struggles, and accomplishments of African Americans from their beginnings in Africa through modern American history. My students come from a diverse background across the cities representing various cultures, ethnicities and languages.

I am organizing a trip at the end of April to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC. Our students rarely get to go on educational field trips and I believe that this trip would be a perfect way to illustrate all the historical content we are learning in my class.
