Hi, my name is Lydia and I am raising funds in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association. I am running a 10K race in Newcastle on 13th July 2025 with my lovely cousin Kate (featured in the photo below).

Motor Neurone Disease is a rare condition affecting the brain and nerves. Unfortunately, back in October 2023 my partner’s father, Gary, was diagnosed with this awful disease. This diagnosis came as a complete shock to everyone and not a day goes by where I don’t think about how hard it must be for Gary, his lovely wife Dawn and the rest of the family.

MND Association fund research, improve care and provide support for people with MND, their families and carers. Research into this heartbreaking disease is so important as there needs to be more knowledge and understanding so that further developments can be made. Please donate whatever you can❤️
