10K for the Special Care Baby Unit

On 2nd October 2024, my son was born 7 weeks early. It was the scariest time of our lives—we didn’t know if he would even survive at first but thanks to the incredible staff at the Warwick Hospital, he received the most compassionate, expert care in their Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).

He spent 16 days there, fighting to get strong enough to come home. And thanks to the nurses, doctors, and everyone on that unit, today—just 6 months later—he’s thriving!

I’m taking on a 10k run on April 27th to raise funds for the unit that gave us our little miracle. My goal is £250, and every single penny will go directly to the unit to support their amazing work in helping premature/sick babies —whether it’s new equipment, supplies, or comforts for other parents facing the same trauma we once did.
