10K Every 4 Hours for 48 Hours for Cancer Research
Hi everyone,
As some of you may know last year I raised £2500 for the Yorkshire Cancer Research Charity whilst completing a 15k run every day for the whole of October, all in memory of my best friend, my Grandad.
We lost my Grandad to throat cancer during the last challenge in what was a hard time for all of my family. My Grandad was and always will be my hero and my best friend. He was an amazing father figure to myself and my sister. He showed amazing courage during his fight with cancer and always put his family first which demonstrated to me what brave man he was.
His infectious continued positive outlook on life and the relationship we had together has made me want to complete a running challenge every year in memory of my best friend for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
This year myself & Jack will be completing the mega goggins challenge. It entails running 10 kilometres every 4 hours for 48 hours straight.
It will be an extremely tough challenge, but nothing in comparison to the journey thousands of people go through each day with cancer.
Yorkshire Cancer Research is a non-profitable organisation which aims to allows loved ones to live a longer, more comfortable life with cancer. This amazing organisation has helped thousands of local families live a more comfortable life with this horrible disease. Giving more comfort during a horrible time and providing families with a positive outlook. Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated!
Thankyou
