MAX 1071 - They've Done it Again!

Wolcott High School Robotics team 'MAX 1071' has once again defied the odds & qualified for the FIRST Robotics World Championship taking place in Detroit, Michigan April 25 - 28th. The qualification came after a harrowing season that started out rough and ended in an epic comeback with the teamcompeting at the New England District Champs at Boston University. There they were up against 63 of the best teams in New England and placed 14th! This marks the 3rd time in the teams 15 year history that they've qualified for the World Championship. Tens of thousands of students from around the globe will compete in this years challenge called PowerUP!
This year for the FIRST TIME EVER - our FIRST Lego League Junior team - the Pink Fluffy Unicorns will attend the World Championship with us! This team consists of wolcott students between the ages of 6-10. They participated in Agua Adventures where they learned the importance of clean water, using water wisely, and more.
Now the teams just need help raising the additional funds for travel expenses. We ask that you consider donating to the team - so we can make it to WORLDS and represent the town of Wolcott!
