Chris Watson started his career with DOC in 2018. Upon completion of the Academy, Watson was stationed at the Brooklyn Detention Center also known as BKDC. Watson worked at that facility for a year until it was closed to inmates in Dec. 2019. Watson then got transferred to Manhattan Detention Center. Upon the Covid 19 pandemic Officer Watson without warning was again transferred to Rikers Island GRVC facility. Less than a month of being in the facility without warning Watson was wrongfully terminated!!! Anybody that worked with Watson knew he was a good officer and had your back, would be the first to assist when he can and stood his ground behind the gates.
