100th Marathon for COVID-19 Atlantic Canada Relief

Donation protected
Like many Atlantic Canadians, Haligonian Tammy Mercier's plans have been derailed due to COVID-19. On April 20, Tammy was booked to run her 100th marathon (that's 42.2 whole kilometers!) during the 124th Boston Marathon.

Although Tammy's milestone marathon hasn't gone as planned, she is still determined to run 42.2 kilometers on Monday, April 20. Instead of running for her personal records, she is going to be running for Atlantic Canadians who have been effected by COVID-19.

Whether it's through job loss, small business struggles, personal struggles with food or childcare, each stride Tammy takes from Mahone Bay to Bayswater Beach will be for the Atlantic Canadian region—and every dollar raised will go to the Atlantic Credit Unions' Rural Community/Business Fund and will be distributed to Atlantic Canadians struggling financially due to COVID-19.

Fifty cents or fifty dollars, every penny counts! We are all in this together. COVID-19 has disrupted lives of everyone in our region and on April 20, Tammy is flipping the tables.

Thank you in advance for your donations and support as Tammy gears up to run her 100th marathon and show COVID-19 Atlantic Canada takes care of its own.
