Mica is an old classmate and friend of mine. We’ve known each other since the first day of preschool.  Mica has been battling cancer through successive recurring bouts.  Her perseverance and determination is an inspiration to me -so much so that I’m attempting my first 100 mile ultra marathon in her honor.  I know completing a 100 miler will be a commitment to relentless forward progress.  Beating cancer is also a commitment to relentless forward progress. Would you join me in raising funds for Mica’s battle with cancer?  I’m challenging friends and family to give $1 for every mile I run ($100), but feel free to give as you are able. All proceeds go directly to Mica for medical related expenses. The date of the run is October 20th in Tahlequah, OK (Pumkin Holler Hunnerd).
