100km Sponsored Stretcher Carry 2022

After two years of reduced fundraising due to COVID, Wiltshire Search and Rescue have set themselves a huge challenge- with other SAR teams, our volunteers carry a loaded stretcher for 100km through Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire!

This relay will take place on "Britain's Oldest Road", the Ridgeway. The stretcher will contain a full rescue load of a manikin, vacuum mattress, oxygen cylinder and casualty care blanket.

The money raised will fund our ongoing vital work to save lives and reduce suffering. 999 control rooms deploy the search and rescue teams involved to high-risk incidents involving immediate threats to life.
