100km Run for ASD classes, Tobair an Lèinn, Laois.

Hi, my name is Kevin and I am raising funds for Tobair an Léinn Primary School, Raheen, Co. Laois. Specifically, I am hoping to raise funds for the two ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) classes. Between the two classes there are 12 boys and girls with autism, which affects them in a variety of different ways. The school are waiting on their department issue build and are currently operating out of prefabs. As some of the children are likely to escape, they currently play in a fenced in yard.

The children love to climb and jump and need this action as part of their regulation strategies. I would love to help the school buy some swings, a climbing frame and a soft floor space for landing. Any donation that could be made would be greatly appreciated and would make for a better, safer and more fulfilling a day for these children. I will run, jog, walk, crawl 100km on Saturday the 16th of March in the hope of raising these much needed funds.
