In October I'm walking 100km with my dogs to raise money to benefit Fertility Network UK, a cause that means a great deal to me and my husband.
Over the past four years, we’ve experienced firsthand just how complex and emotionally challenging infertility is. We've also seen the enormous financial and bureaucratic barriers that so many people face when trying to access treatment and support.
Infertility Network UK is a lifeline for countless individuals and couples, offering compassionate support, reliable information, and tireless advocacy to make fertility care more accessible and inclusive.
In recent years I have been reliant on the support of this charity who provide free and impartial support, advice, information and understanding for anyone affected by fertility issues. I have particularly benefitted from their free group conselling sessions and advice line. They are a small charity working hard to help the 3.5 million people affected by the devastation and pain fertility issues wreak. They are the patient voice in the campaign for equitable access to NHS fertility treatment in the UK, based on medical need and not postcode.
If you’re able to donate, however small, it would mean so much to us, and to the many others walking this difficult path.
With love and thanks,
