100km in Flip Flops for Marta

There is definitely only one Marta Florencio Romero on this planet. At 34 years old she has beaten breast cancer twice and is one of the bravest people I have ever met. If you are reading this and know Marta, you will have experienced first hand her razor sharp sense of humour, massive heart and infectious laugh.

She has sadly recently been diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer, and this isn't something you get better from. On 28th November, come rain or shine, I will be walking 100km along the Thames Footpath for 2 days, non stop, in the Lidl flip flops Marta gave me. All funds raised will go towards palliative care to ensure that she is as comfortable and well looked after as possible as the illness progresses.
