100km for Looseheadz
Much like mental illness which often hits with little to no warning and often strikes at the most inconvenient of times, I decided to make my challenge of 100km on the bike erg replicate this.
Completing the challenge after a full week of work, training and having coached two classes in the morning it was a definite challenge to complete.
3 hours 43 minutes and 16 seconds spent chipping away at the 100km. My head was telling me to stop from 60km in, with legs feeling like lead and the seat feeling like concrete but the job is done.
This challenge reminded me that pain is always temporary, so for anyone struggling mentally- it is only temporary, people want to help you and things do get better. The first step to getting help is the hardest, but things will get better
If anyone would like to donate to my go fund me page to help Looseheadz to continue fighting the stigma of mental health, the link can be found in my bio and story
All donations and support is massively appreciated!
