Running 100k for Ssenyimba’s education

Donation protected
After visiting Uganda in 2019 I have had the pleasure of working with a local charity to support vulnerable people and communities.

In this country, education is something we take for granted and, even though sometimes difficult, there is always opportunity.
Unfortunately, in Uganda this isn’t the case. Education is the only way to break the cycle of poverty that plagues whole generations.

Ssenyimba begins her day at 5am to collect water…a long journey each day with risk of assault, exploitation or encounters with dangerous animals. She then supports her family on the land with substance farming. Without education there is no way to break this cycle. With education she may go on to gain meaningful employment, helping to break the cycle of poverty for her family and community.

To support this and inspire donations, I am running 100k on 19th May along the Jurassic Coast. Having only ever run a marathon before this will be some challenge. Throw in 9000ft of accent and it a a real party.

please donate generously to help change Ssenyimba’s life so she can help change the lives of future generations.

all transactions for schools fees will be documented and shared along with updates and school reports for those that would like to follow her journey.
