1000 Miles for DMD - EVEREST 2017!

To ALL my former colleagues, my former students, my friends and to the parents of children with Duchenne:

I am again returning to EVEREST in September to raise funds and awareness for Gus and ALL of the boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

When I reach the  Everest Base Camp I will have hiked just over 1,000 miles to raise awareness of and funds for researching an effective treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)

I need 1,000 of you- friends, former colleagues, former students, and parents of children with DMD - to raise and/or contribute $20 to this campaign.

The breakthroughs keep coming!  DMD in human cells has now been successfully treated using CRISPR. One of the doctors funded by the Hope for Gus Foundation (where your dollars go) is expecting HUMAN TRIALS by 2019! This is OUTSTANDING!

So, PLEASE step up and participate!  PLEASE!

PLEASE ask your friends, neighbors, and family members to help. PLEASE SHARE this campaign- this message- this goal, far and wide!

And thank you in advance, everyone.

Thank you from every child with DMD and from every parent of a child with DMD.

Thank you for making this real.

Thank you for supporting HOPE!
