1,000 Miles for Change. Neurodiverse Students Cycle JOGLE.
12 Neurodiverse Students, 1,000 Miles – Help Them Prove That Anything Is Possible!
Twelve incredible students from Appleford School, aged 14-16, are taking on the JOGLE Challenge—cycling 1,000 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End in June/July 2025. These students, all of whom are neurodiverse (with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, and other learning differences), are pushing past their limits to show that neurodiversity is a strength, not a barrier
For them, this isn’t just about cycling—it’s about proving to themselves and the world that they are capable of achieving extraordinary things. Many of these students have faced significant educational struggles before finding Appleford, but with the right support, they have thrived. Now, they are training for the biggest challenge of their lives.
Why This Challenge Matters
Sport is a powerful tool for mental health, self-belief, and social inclusion.
This challenge is an equaliser—it shows that perseverance, teamwork, and resilience matter more than any label.
