Portraits With Purpose: Help Fund 1000 Faces
Donation protected
1000 Faces for Dyslexia is a grassroots charity I’m launching to help kids like my son—and so many others—get the educational support they deserve but aren’t receiving from public schools.
My son Miles is bright, creative, and full of potential. He’s also been diagnosed by a doctor with both dyslexia and ADHD. Despite his diagnosis, the public school system has failed to provide the consistent, qualified support he needs to thrive. And sadly, he’s not alone.
Many families across New York are trapped in this same cycle—waiting months for evaluations, denied resources, and left to navigate the system on their own.
That’s why I am creating 1000 Faces for Dyslexia.
We're using affordable headshot photography as a fundraising engine. Our goal is simple: Photograph 1,000 faces and use those funds to provide:
Free or low-cost neuropsychological evaluations
Tutoring support and IEP advocacy
Workshops and public awareness events
Right now, we're raising seed money to officially form our 501(c)(3) nonprofit in New York State and to host our first 5 pop-up portrait events in Queens and across NYC. These events will raise money while also raising visibility for a community that’s too often overlooked.
Whether you’re a parent, an educator, or just someone who believes every child deserves a fair shot at learning—your support will help us open doors that the system has closed.
