Remember when distilleries meant more than drinks? When every town made its own spirits, and people came together over cocktails? Probably not.
Before prohibition, distilleries were a center for community life. They were a place to share stories. To laugh. To bond.
Now, a century removed from the '20s, it seems the small-town feel is gone, and the local distillery has almost disappeared. Almost.
That’s where we come in. We are 10,000 Drops, a Faribault distillery and cocktail room. And with any luck, we can reignite the love of good spirits and good company that once filled towns like ours all over the country.
Our goal is simple. We want to make craft American spirits in the spirit of the American craftsman. What’s more, we want to do it ourselves and do it right. No outsourcing products. No artificial weathering. Just clean, simple booze from Faribault to you.
But we can’t do everything alone. With your donation, we can start on our first hundred barrels. We can renovate our facilities and community spaces. We can even get some events in the works- little things to say thank you for your generosity.
So let us prove that distilleries are more than whiskeys, bourbons, and rums. Let us prove that the land of 10,000 lakes wouldn’t be the same without 10,000 drops.
