Flood destroyed our home in Ft Gibson, OK

The magnitude of destruction happening in Oklahoma is really soaking in. Last week, my town of Fort Gibson, OK 74434 was completely destroyed by a 1,000-year flood. Our homes are submersed 3 to 12 feet deep in flood water.
I come to you all for help rebuilding my parents home as so many homes slowly drown deeper and our people are facing the rebuild from mass destruction largely by themselves.
Four years ago, I helped my parents build their forever home to enjoy retirement and watch the grand-kids grow on the countryside. Today, their home is destroyed by flood water.
My dad is about to turn 73 and faces the task of starting over, just when life was supposed to slow down for him. My mom and dad bear the entire burden to rebuild without any financial help from insurance.
No flood insurance? You're probably asking yourself why won't insurance help. Most of our town sits outside the flood zone. Homeowners insurance doesn't cover ground flooding, and hardly anyone has flood insurance because it's not required since we are out of the flood zone.
Never in a million years did we imagine this was possible. Their home sits atop a large bank side approximately 9 feet out of the above the flood plain and over 20 feet above the normal water level. Just a few days ago, I'd thought it was impossible to access bedrooms in a kayak. Now, this is our reality.
I sit here in disbelief, heartbroken that my hands have to write this. We are a proud family and normally we'd pick ourselves up when we face obstacles. But, the destruction of this flood is completely overwhelming my family and our town.
Please help however you are able. I know my parents will be moved to tears once they know that others have helped to lift a piece of our burden.
