My job has taken me all over the world so I thought it was appropriate to address many languages ! As most of you know, I’m a professional volleyball player with an intense passion for animals. Back in 2018, I saw a feature of the Vucjak Shelter on The Dodo and I fell in love. I was determined to go and volunteer and had plans to after my second professional season… in 2020. Obviously, I was stopped by a pandemic and was unable to go. Finally, it’s time to go! I will head to Serbia to volunteer from May 25th to May 31st and I’m so excited to get feet on the ground and show what an amazing shelter this is. They turn no dog away and, thus, have over 1000 animals in their care. They. Are. Overwhelmed. While I’ve donated my own money for several years (& will continue to donate) I know we are stronger together.
