1000 Cranes for Black Dog Outdoors

Floating above Cole's Corner's outdoor cafe space in Sheffield is a flock of 1000 origami cranes folded by their friend Natalia Pearce of Scavenger over the past year.
“The crane in Japan is a symbol of peace and hope and is one of the mystical or holy creatures that is said to live for a thousand years. An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by the gods. ”

All 1000 cranes are available to adopt for £2* each to raise money for mental health charity Blackdog Outdoors who do amazing work providing free, professional, well-being walks and activities for individuals, organisations and MH service users.
*minimum donation via gofundme is £5 but smaller donations can be made in person at Cole's Corner.
