1000 Bike Miles 100 Run Miles for Fox Angels Foundation

Donation protected
For Fox Angels Foundation, this February (it's a short month which makes this a lot harder, and I'm away for 3 days) I will attempt 40 miles on the bike and 4 miles running a day (that's the maths) but I'm not sure I'll be able to do it and the prospect is scaring me!!
I will definitely try my best - and though the thought feels like a fraudulent luxury, some bike miles may need to be on a bike at the gym if I'm desperate. I'm praying to get to the 1000 and the 100 for these wonderful foxes who find themselves in distress from time to time. That's when Fox Angels Foundation are called on the emergency line!
Thank you for any donation, however tiny. I will be exceedingly happy and appreciative for your help. Fingers crossed this running and biking challenge will make an impact for these lovable animals, bring some more attention to this organisation, and help this small group of volunteers do what they were born to do!
Fergie's February: I got into this challenge because Neil Featherby, who does tonnes for the animal community and is also owns Sportlink Sports Shop in Taverham, Norfolk, is running 100 miles in February and I was already too busy so I over-committed further as I usually do. I said I'd do 1000 bike miles and hopefully the 100 running.
He has arranged a fantastic challenge for anyone to run or walk or row or bike or swim or rollerskate or trolley dash 25 Miles for February for Fergus, a beautiful fox he welcomed to his home in 2023 after he was spotted malnourished and wandering around the village Horsham St Faith in Norfolk, aching for food and help, having apparently been tamed and abandoned. After two and half years of being a beloved, gentle character, therapy fox and intrinsic member of Neil's garden fox family (a merry group of diverse rescued foxes), he crossed Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Eve, forever a cherished family fox.
This foxtastic February challenge is being held to celebrate Fergie's life, and hopefully give a ginger (usually - but some foxes do come in other colours such as black and even cream) paw up to other foxes who might cross paths with Fox Angels Foundation in the future.
Fox Angels Foundation works with other wildlife rescues, too, such as Greenwich Wildlife Network and Moonstone Rescue. It is reassuring that there are people out there doing good for these trusty animals who may find themselves in trouble, and any money to help them will make their efforts possible.
Thank you for reading, and have a successful February yourself.
