This November, I’m taking on a challenge that’s as much about mental grit as it is physical strength: 100 push-ups a day, every day, for 30 days. That’s 3,000 push-ups!
Why? Because mental health matters. And while many suffer in silence, I’ll be suffering loudly—grunting, groaning, and possibly weeping through every rep—to raise awareness and support for the Mind Charity, the amazing people helping people navigate life’s mental challenges and championing mental health and wellbeing for all.
The stats are no joke:
1 in 4 people in the UK face mental health challenges each year.
Men make up 75% of suicides, yet are 40% less likely to seek help.
Society still tells us to “man up” instead of “open up.”
So I’m pushing through (literally) to change that. Mind provides free helplines, local support, and campaigns that actually make a difference.
How you can help (without doing a single push-up):
Sponsor me: Every pound helps Mind save lives.
Share this: Let’s break the silence.
Join in: Push-ups, planks, or just a chat—every bit counts.
Follow my journey of sweat, struggle, and questionable form. Let’s flex our empathy muscles and support mental health together
