Hello, my Name is Pete

This May, I’m taking on a personal challenge: cycling 100 miles in the event known as Beast to the East. But I’m not just doing it for the thrill—I’m doing it with purpose.

I’ve chosen to use this opportunity to raise money for Mountbatten Hampshire. They’ve been a lifeline during one of the hardest times of our lives, supporting my dad as he bravely battles stage 4 cancer.

The care, compassion, and support they’ve provided go far beyond medical help. They’ve shown up for not just my dad, but for our whole family—and countless others walking similar paths. Their work is invaluable, and I want to give something back.

So, as I push through every mile of the Beast to the East ride, I’ll be thinking of the strength my dad shows every day—and of the incredible people at Mountbatten who stand beside families like ours when it matters most.
