WEST HIGHLAND WAY WALK - NEARLY 100 MILES

In April, I will be walking the West Highland Way Walk in order to raise money for a Local Primary school. This walk is nearly 100 miles and I will be doing this over 6 days; sleeping nights wild camping somewhere along the way!

THE WALK

‘The West Highland Way was established as Scotland’s first long-distance route in 1980, officially opened on 6th October. The 96 mile route stretches from Scotland’s largest city to its highest mountain via its largest loch, passing through some of the country’s most spectacular scenery.’

Like many schools, they always strive to support their families in whatever way possible. My chosen primary school is always providing extra support for their struggling families, even providing families Christmas presents for their children who would’ve gone without. They provide families with clothes, necessities and even food. More importantly, this support is provided with absolutely no judgement at all. Unfortunately, due to the cost of living crisis, there are many families that are in need with little support and I would love to be able to donate to the school to try and relieve even just one family of this pressure.
