On Thursday 17th July, a group of 7 golfers are undertaking a 100 hole golf challenge at McDonald Golf Club in Ellon. 100 holes of golf, in one day, at the golf course where we all fell in love with the game. That's roughly 28 miles on foot and who knows how many shots, lost balls and tired swings.
Undertaking the challenge is Kevin Watson, Murray Patterson, Jack Cruickshank, Adam Dunton, Lewis Watt, Alistair Hunter and Callum High.
The 100 hole challenge has become a tradition at McDonald Golf Club, with strong ties to Prostate Cancer UK, and we'd all be greatly appreciative of any support to the cause.
Prostate Cancer UK is here to stop prostate cancer being a killer. One man dies from prostate cancer every in the hour in the UK and deaths from prostate cancer are set to soar over the next decade. By finding better tests, better treatments, better prevention and better support they aim to dramatically reduce the number of men dying from prostate cancer.
We're aiming to raise £2,000, and every donation - big or small - helps us stay motivated where we're dragging our tiered legs around the 17th green for the 5th time that day!
Wish us luck and thanks for your support.
