My name is Jared Owen. I am a proud Marine and Army veteran, 100% disabled, living every day with a traumatic brain injury and PTSD I sustained, while serving my country. I fought for this nation with honor, courage, and sacrifice, and I’ve always tried to carry those same values into my everyday life.

But now, I find myself in a battle I never expected. Recently, my wife forced me out of our home. I was left with only the clothes on my back, my wallet, and my phone. Everything else—my personal belongings, my stability, and my sense of security—was taken from me in an instant.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but right now, I can’t do this alone. I could use any help or a job right now.

I’m not asking for luxuries—just the basics: food, and clothing and help with rent is needed and a chance to get back on my feet rebuilding my life. I am in need of a laptop or tv if anyone is willing to donate a used one. What keeps me going is the belief in God, human compassion and that this is not the end of my story, but the start of a new one. With some help, I can rebuild my life, find stability again, and work toward a future where I can stand strong and even help others who are struggling—just as I once swore to protect and serve.
