Sebbie Hall is trying to raise  £2000 by doing 100 acts of kindness in 10 days to provide communication aids for disadvantaged, isolated and disabled young people in lockdown and beyond

Sebbie has a rare chromosome anomaly resulting in learning and physical difficulties. During lockdown he has been supported with online zoom meetings and utube feeds. He has learned new skills and his communication is still evolving. We want more young people to have a voice. He is looking to provide communication aids for disadvantaged and disabled children who will be even more isolated than they already are in these trying times.

Sebbie has remained focused and positive by learning, exercise and communicating with his peers using communication aids. He has understood that not all if his peers have access to the equipment they need to be able to communicate with him.

Many young people with disabilities have lost their social support in this time and we have noticed more and more of his peers are becoming increasingly isolated and introverted as this pandemic continues.

Seb asked if he could save the money to buy simple to use IT equipment to be used in online speech therapy, communication, fitness, socialising and education.

The aim is to provide the opportunity for positive experiences that young people in the West midlands and Staffordshire can enjoy while staying indoors, as well as planning for future trips out using social distancing measures.
