This August marks the 10 year anniversary of losing our Mum. A decade of navigating grief, holding on to the good memories and of new beginnings for our families.
To honour her memory, we are taking on the formidable challenge of climbing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales — all within 24 hours. Along the way, we are raising funds for two exceptional charities.
Half of the funds raised will go to Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity dedicated to tackling a devastating disease that is still so often diagnosed too late. Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most under-researched and least understood forms of cancer, with no cure currently available. Yet researchers continue to fight for progress.
The other half of the donations will go to Sobell House Hospice in Oxford, where we spent our last days with Mum. Though some of the toughest days, they were filled with compassion, dignity, and humanity — thanks to the extraordinary nurses, doctors, carers, and volunteers who supported us every step of the way. Their quiet dedication left a lasting imprint on our lives.
We would be deeply grateful to anyone who can support/sponsor us — whether by donating, sharing our cause, or simply cheering us on. The money raised will help fund our challenge and support the people who so often go unsung, yet do truly life-changing work.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts — and please wish us luck.
