10 Year SMS Anniversary Fund Drive

It's time for our annual SMS fundraiser and, this year, our annual fundraiser coincides with our school’s 10 Year Anniversary. Happy birthday, SMS! Although it’s certainly not a great time to get everyone together and party, it is a perfect time to celebrate all that we have accomplished.
With a lot of help from our families, friends, and neighbors, we found a neglected, cold, dark little brick box in 2010, and managed to create a warm, bright children’s house, full of life and energy. Ten years later, it’s clear this school is no longer just the vision of one person. SMS now belongs to the community, and to all of the children, parents, and teachers who have been a part of it. I believe this is the reason that SMS continues to thrive even during a pandemic and why, after 10 years, the future of this little school looks brighter than ever. Thank you all for being part of our school community and contributing to the spirit of Smyrna Montessori School.
This year, we plan to focus the donations to our annual fund drive towards a permanent outdoor classroom structure which we hope to install this summer. If you find it your heart to donate to SMS this year, we will create a commemorative tribute to your family in our new outdoor classroom structure celebratory party pavilion : )
