10 year old Aly Ruth has been an absolute warrior with all that has come her way over the last year. Not a single day went by that she didn’t smile. The hospital staff gave Aly Ruth the nickname “Strawberry Shortcake” for her bright red hair, kind heartedness, and a belly laugh that could be heard down the halls.
Recently, Aly Ruth had to have both kidneys removed and is now waiting on a transplant. To get this process started, Aly Ruth and their family will need to be moved to Houston along with their mother and five siblings. Texas Children’s Hospital of Houston will be in charge of the transplant due to Aly Ruth’s delicate case. The family of nine is seeking help with rent and utilities during this time, as this transition is a big step for everyone involved.
Your support would mean that Aly Ruth’s mother can focus on bringing them to and from dialysis and being by their side every step of the way, without the added stress of covering rent and utilities. We are asking for your help to support Aly Ruth and their family during this challenging journey. Your kindness will make a real difference.
