10 year Forensic Audit on the City of La Verne

The citizens of La Verne have been fighting for a forensic audit on the City of La Verne for years. Mayor Hepburn has made several attempts during city council meetings to request a forensic audit. Unfortunately, he is outvoted 4 to 1 by the other 4 council members. Muir Davis, Robin Carder, Rick Crosby, and Wendy Lau have all voted against the forensic audit. Then the citizens of La Verne spoke with Assemblymember Chris Holden and he found that there were things that needed to be looked at closer. He offered the City of La Verne a free forensic audit. Again, the 4 council members voted against Mayor Hepburn and rejected the free forensic audit.

At this point, your La Verne Firefighters decided to fund a forensic audit ourselves. We interviewed several firms and decided to hire Barbara Maynard with ActNow Strategies to conduct a 10-year forensic audit. We are committed to paying for the entire audit, however, we have been approached by many citizens who want to help. This GoFundMe is your opportunity. Money raised will go directly to help pay for the forensic audit. If more money is raised than needed then we will donate the money to a local La Verne charity.

When the audit is complete we will be releasing the entire document for the citizens, Firefighters, Police Officers, and city workers to review. We hope that this helps foster the transparency the citizens demand from their city.
