In 2016 me and my children's mum welcomed into the world our first born son... Joseph or something may know him as Joey

Everything was perfect until 10 hours after birth when the world came crashing down.

Joseph struggled with his breathing and all of a sudden turned blue. Sheer panic took over and the month that followed was without a doubt the hardest time of our lives

Joseph was born on 5th January 2016 and died 1st February 2016.

I've decided that in honour of Joey, I'm going to climb Mount Snowdon next year on the 30th May 2026 to celebrate what would of been his 10th year on the planet.

Honestly the pain and heartache we suffer every day is crippling and sometimes gets too much to cope with but we keep going because of our other 2 children we've had since, they are the real saviours.

Alveolar capillary dysplasia with misalignment of pulmonary veins (ACD/MPV) is a rare, usually fatal, neonatal lung disorder characterized by severe, refractory pulmonary hypertension appearing within hours or days of birth. Over 200 cases reported since 1947 indicate and it has a near 100% fatality rate

From the money that will be raised I will be donating half and half depending on the over all amount raised to children's heart link charity for there continued support throughout the whole ordeal and a charity called the David Ashwell foundation. David was a 15 day old baby boy who lost his life to ACD. His parents then started the foundation to hopefully raise money to aid and help children and families in need.

So any donations would be amazing, big or small every penny will be getting donated

Let's do this together and climb Snowdon so I can be with in arms reach of my little boy again
