10 Weeks Without Pay: Help my family with bills

My mom’s name is Nicole Copello and she is having a major surgery within the next couple of weeks. This surgery is going to leave her on 10 weeks of unpaid leave from work. Although my dad and her have a small rainy day fund, it does not come close to the amount of money she would be losing and needing to pay the monthly bills with her being out of work for that length of time with no income. She is a server, so the majority of her money is made from tips, and she does not have the benefit of short- or long-term disability.

She’s not one to ever ask for help; however, I am hoping that this would help us cover the bills while she is out of work.
