10 week old Kitten Leg Amputation with StraySafe Cat Rescue
UPDATE Thursday 12th Sept - I've just dropped baby Bean off for his leg Amputation. It's a big, risky op for such a small baby however his foot is still bleeding out so it's the right decision. I'm sat in my car in tears. He will need a lot of post op care and meds. I'll update later on how he is doing. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.

Hi, my name is Shirley-Anne, myself and Liz are the co-founders of the Sale, Cheshire, based cat rescue StraySafe.
We are struggling to meet the vet fees and care fees of the cats we find in our care, to continue our good work donations are vital. Cats and Kittens are often given away or left knowing they need vet care, we are then left to pick this up. We are pleading for help with a 10 week old Kitten who came to us with his 4 siblings.
His name is Bean. He is approximately 10 weeks old. He sadly needs one of his back legs amputating. Please see below.
After another vet visit, the conclusion is that previous to coming into StraySafe something was wrapped around his leg cutting off the circulation resulting in parts of his lower leg and foot being starved of blood flow.
We have persevered for 4 weeks, under vet care and 2 lots of antibiotics to try and help. Sadly it's not improving and the bleeding of the foot pad is increasing which means the only option for Bean will be to have his leg amputated.
I have cried and cuddles this boy for the past four weeks but cuddled him harder today and am giving him extra TLC with lots of kisses. We need to raise £450 towards the cost of this operation, which is likely to go ahead next week, we have no choice and it cannot wait as he can't sustain the blood loss he is doing for much longer before it becomes a concern.
If you can help towards the cost of this, even £1 we would be so grateful.
