10 Ultramarathons in 10 days; Journey to the Great North Run
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Last year, I did something I never thought possible—I ran 7 marathons in 7 days. It was exhausting, painful, and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Your support kept me going, mile after mile. But this year, I’m pushing myself even harder because the fight isn’t over.
In 2025, I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet: 10 ultramarathons in 10 consecutive days. I’ll be running from Newbury to Newcastle, finishing with the legendary Great North Run. It’s daunting. It’s overwhelming. But it’s nothing compared to the battles faced by those I’m running for.
I’m doing this because two causes have touched my heart deeply: Alzheimer’s Research UK and Sophie’s Journey. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease that steals memories and loved ones right before your eyes. I’ve seen the pain it causes, and I can’t stand by and do nothing. At the same time, childhood cancer robs young souls of their innocence and families of their peace. Sophie’s Journey is there to support children through the unimaginable. These charities are lifelines, offering hope where it feels like there’s none.
Running 10 ultramarathons might sound impossible. Truthfully, I’m scared. I know it will hurt. I know there will be moments when I want to stop. But compared to the daily battles faced by those affected by Alzheimer’s and childhood cancer, my pain is temporary. Theirs isn’t. That’s why I’m running—because they don’t have the option to quit.
But I need your help. This challenge comes with costs—accommodation, gear, nutrition, logistics—and I can’t do it alone. Your donation, big or small, will make a difference. It will help me complete this journey, and more importantly, it will support the incredible work these charities do every single day.
I’m asking you to believe in me. Believe in what we can achieve together. Every mile will be a tribute to those who can’t run, can’t fight back, and need our support. Let’s make this journey about more than just running—it’s about hope, love, and the power to make a difference.
Please donate if you can. Share this page. Follow my progress. Together, let’s show the world that we don’t back down—not from pain, not from challenges, and certainly not from supporting those who need us.
Let’s go further, for those who can’t.
Let’s run for change.
Thank you for being part of this. Your kindness keeps me going.
