10 Miles for Teeghan

Hi, I’m Chelsey — myself & Rhianne are organising a sponsored 10-mile walk to raise money for an amazing young woman and childhood friend, Teeghan, who is currently facing stage 4 cancer.

At just 26 years old, Teeghan is a devoted mum to two beautiful children, aged 7 and 5. After being misdiagnosed for over a year, she was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2023. She bravely went through surgery and chemotherapy, and was overjoyed when she was told she was cancer-free.

But in November 2024, her world changed again. The cancer had returned — more aggressively — and spread to her liver, pelvis, and abdomen. Doctors told her there were no further treatment options in the UK. She was given 12 months to live.

But she and her family refused to give up.

They found a specialist clinic in Germany that believes they can help — but treatment comes at a cost: £40,000. This walk is one small way I can help raise those funds — and show Teeghan she’s not alone.

we’ll be walking the Hills and Hamlets Route in the Holme Valley — a scenic but challenging 10-mile walk through the countryside near Huddersfield. It’s to honour a beautiful young mum who’s facing a fight no one should have to face at 26.
