Chris’ Funeral Expenses - With a Heavy Heart Updated
Donation protected

Sadly we are updating our page. It is with a heavy heart to tell all of you that Chris passed away on October 3, 2024. Chris did not have life insurance and we now need your help to pay for his final costs. Thank you to everyone.
Hello Everyone! For those of you who know Chris, you know for the last seven years he has been sick with end-stage renal failure. During these years, Chris has been in and out of the hospital countless times for different surgeries and emergencies, and he has always managed to come out on the other side.
I am Chris' ex-wife, closest friend, and for the past seven years, on-and-off caregiver along with my husband John. John and I look out for Chris and take care of him whenever he needs us. We are there for him because he is our family. Chris and I have two children, Emilia and Jack. They have grown up watching their father going in and out of the hospital, and it has taken a toll on them.
This time we are not sure Chris will survive like he has always done. On August 29th, Chris went into the hospital to have heart surgery with the hopes of becoming strong enough to have a kidney transplant. Unfortunately, on September 6th, Chris went into cardiac arrest. Chris was revived with CPR and by shock. The next day, he took a turn for the worse and had to have emergency surgery to remove parts of his intestines. During this time, he has had surgery after surgery to save his life, leaving his body open and his intestines not connected. He has had infections and internal bleeding, and yet his body continues to fight. He is not conscious. He is critically ill, and the doctors still are unsure of how to save him.
At this time, Chris has been in the hospital for a month, and if he survives, he will be in the hospital for months to come. He needs your help. He has bills to pay. He has no life insurance. We thank you for all of your support.
