Hello everyone, 

One year ago today, we lost Jesus Ku. He started with us at Rintaro when we were new and struggling as a restaurant. He was an incredible worker, and his constant strong and happy presence was one of the key reasons we became successful. Over the years, he became a very close friend.  When he died, we were all very shocked and sad.  As you know, Jesus left behind five children: Hector and Paco (12), Alejandro (10), Nathaly (8) and Hanna (5).  And because of the extreme generosity of our donors, we also helped raising nearly $25,000.  Jesus’s brothers took over care of the children, and the funds paid the legal fees to ensure their guardianship and to pay for a full-time nanny for the first 3 months of care with the uncles. 

The family still needs our help so we decided to start a new fundraising for school and school break camp costs together with additional help to relieve the uncles from time to time. 

All funds raised will directly support Jesus's children. Any level of donation is welcome.
