Last week The NYC Department of Corrections suspended without pay 3 of our MOS Captain Tinsley-Thomas #996

Correction Officer Joseph #12642 and Correction Officer Smith #5204 for doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. These officers are courageous, dedicated members of the Department who have served with great distinction. Administration can say that the MOS in question did a bad job, yet at the same time can administration say we all have been adequately trained for the limitless situations we face on a day to day basis. The Department must show the New York City Council that swift action has been taken, the only problem is that they render the MOS guilty and suspend them before even conducting a proper investigation. At the end of the conversation this situation could have happened to any of us, white shirts to blue shirts the unjust process would still be the same. Please I ask that you find it in your heart to donate to our brothers and sister and help offset the costs of expenses and legal fees they will incur while suspended.
