Hi everyone! 

We (Maiurei and Nila) have decided to raise money for Palmera's 'Graduating the Poor' project by taking 1 million steps each over the next 2 months.

Palmera is an organisation that has various projects set out to support those who have been affected by poverty in Sri Lanka due to the civil war. The 'Graduating the Poor' project aims to identify 120 of the poorest in the Kandavalli district of Killinochi, and work with them over 2 years to help them out of poverty. They ensure families have access to food and healthcare whilst also helping them build their financial resilience.
