In memory of Paul

By now everybody knows what has happened to Paul and we're all heartbroken that he has been taken away from us so tragically.
Rather than this fund being set up towards Paul's funeral, although it's a lovely gesture Paul's family have the money to pay for this themselves so instead on behalf of Paul's mam Carla and stepdad Billy they would like to set up this fund to do something special in Paul's memory.
All money kindly donated to this fund will go towards placing a memorial for Paul in both the Tynemouth/North Shields fish quay area where Paul frequently visited and also in Ibiza where Paul passed away.
The fund will also go towards raising awareness of the importance of CPR in the hope of preventing a tragedy like this happening again in the future as we know that this is something Paul would have wanted. Paul's family have a wish of reaching schools so that the learning of CPR becomes compulsory at an early age. As well as this, they hope to raise enough money to buy a defibrillator and will look to develop a mobile app or video so that everybody has the basics of CPR to hand.
On behalf of Carla and Billy they would like to thank everyone again for the lovely messages of support and are so thankful that people have it in their hearts to want to help at such a sad time.
