I was just recently accepted and enrolled in college here in Columbia, TN at Columbia State Community College. I’ll be majoring in business and minoring in medical coding/billing. For those who know me, you know I’ve done a lot of things I’m not proud of, and I didn’t even graduate high school. Until finally, enough was enough—and so, 13 years after I was supposed to graduate, I finally did. I got my GED in 2023.

I want everybody to know that it doesn’t matter where you were; it’s about where you’re headed. I can see my future now, and I will get there. My dreams are evident now, as before I wasn’t quite sure. I want my children to know that anything is possible, so never settle for less. Always shoot for the moon and aim for the stars!

I am asking for help because I’m trying to reach this goal I have set for myself, and I know without your help it may not be possible. The cost of living and adding an expense like this could be everything. I was told recently that it may be beneficial to create a GoFundMe, and at first, I wasn’t sure. But someone said, in order to succeed, sometimes it takes a community! I’ve never looked at it like that before. So I’m asking for your help in reaching this goal and watching me graduate with a degree I’ve waited a lifetime for. P.S. An Associate’s Degree of Applied Science is only the beginning!
