Hello Everyone it’s Spencer. I’m a 15 year old Conservationist, Environmental Educator & award-winning Nature Photographer. I have been following my passion to Observe, Learn, Protect - my local environment & inspire others to love & protect nature since the age of 6years old.

At the age of 8 years old I stood up to protect the habitat of my local Glossy Black Cockatoo flock on the east coast of Australia. Unfortunately even after gathering over 86,000 signatures on my petition, the Glossies home was destroyed before my eyes.
Despite the loss of the habitat I loved I never gave up hope. I have continued my conservation journey using my voice, photography and story telling to raise awareness of the plight of threatened species around Australia due to habitat loss & other threats.
The conservation of Black Cockatoos in Australia is very important to me because of my love of the Glossy Black Cockatoos. That’s why I’m so excited to have been invited to represent the Youth at the Great Black Cockatoo release in Western Australia with Feathered Friends, Perth Wildlife Hospital & Wildlife Allies.
WHY I NEED HELP
I want to bring everyone on this journey with me to experience the magic of releasing a Black Cockatoo back into its home. I really feel so honoured to have been asked to be part of such an amazing conservation experience. I can’t even begin to imagine how overwhelmed with joy I’m going to feel.
So to get there I really need everyone’s help and in return I will bring you all on this most amazing journey of my life through my eyes and lens.
WHERE THE FUNDS GO:
The funds raised will go towards expenses of my travel to Western Australia with my parents and our stay for the short time we are there. This includes flights, hire car and accommodation.
Any funds over what we need will go towards any other conservation journey travels as I raise awareness of important habitats & share my conservation message with more and more people across Australia and globally.
Thank-you so much for your help. Your support means so much to me.
❤️Love Spencer
