Can We Turn £1 Into Something That Makes A Difference?

This started with a crazy idea.

What if a community could come together, one small contribution at a time, to build something completely unexpected?

The goal: £300,000.

The dream: a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

But the car isn’t the end goal.

It’s the beginning.

I’m creating the £1 → GT3 RS project to document an incredible journey from the very beginning — building a community, creating content around the car and, most importantly, using the platform we build to raise awareness and money for an issue that affects far too many people.

Suicide prevention is the bigger purpose

Suicide and mental health affect individuals, families, friends and communities every single day.

I want this project to become more than just another car page.

Once the GT3 RS is acquired, my plan is to use the car and the audience around it to create content that raises awareness of suicide prevention and encourages people to talk, seek help and look out for one another.

The car gives us something people want to watch.

The message gives it a purpose.

I’ll be documenting the entire journey on TikTok — from the first £1, through the milestones, the setbacks, the car, the content and eventually the final chapter.

And there is an end goal for the car

I don’t want this story to simply end with me owning a GT3 RS.

The plan is to eventually auction the car and donate the proceeds to suicide-prevention/mental-health causes.

That means the car itself becomes part of the fundraising journey.

£1 → GT3 RS → Awareness → Content → Auction → Charity

That’s the journey I want to build.

Transparency matters

I want everyone who gets involved to be able to follow what happens.

I’ll document the progress publicly and share updates throughout the project.

There will also be a separate charity fundraiser for people who want to support the charitable side directly.

The two fundraisers are separate:

This fundraiser: the £1 → GT3 RS project and the costs associated with acquiring, insuring, maintaining and developing the project car.

The charity fundraiser: direct fundraising for suicide prevention/mental-health causes.

The intention is that the GT3 RS ultimately becomes a fundraising asset, with the eventual auction proceeds going towards the chosen charitable cause.

Why £1?

Because this isn’t about one person giving £300,000.

It’s about seeing what a community can achieve together.

£1 might seem insignificant.

But £1 from thousands of people can become something much bigger.

And if we can turn that into a car, turn the car into content, turn the content into awareness and ultimately turn the car back into a donation…

then maybe this crazy idea can actually do some good.

I don’t know how far this will go.

That’s the whole point.

I’m starting at £1.

The target is £300,000.

The bigger purpose is helping prevent suicide and supporting people who need help.

This fundraiser is for the £1 → GT3 RS project and is separate from the charity fundraiser. Contributions to this page are not direct charitable donations. The intended long-term plan is to use the GT3 RS as part of the content and awareness campaign and ultimately auction the vehicle, with the proceeds donated to a chosen suicide-prevention/mental-health charity. The specific charity and arrangements for the eventual donation will be communicated publicly once confirmed.
