$1 a day to keep Leukemia away!!! -Deacon Sims

Hi, my name is Erin and I am fundraising on

behalf of Deacon Sims, his mother Jessie

Hehe and his family. About 4 weeks or so ago, Deacon had Covid. His symptoms seemed to

keep lingering with a cough and fever that just wouldn’t go away. After calls and visits to the doctor they did a chest X-ray which revealed

something “concerning”. This was followed by a CT scan which showed a softball size mass

in his chest cavity. The family was sent directly to Riley for further, in depth evaluation. After

multiple tests and agonizing wait times,

Deacon has been diagnosed with T-Cell

Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I want to help this

family in this time of grief. Treatment is to be

started ASAP and the doctors feel confident

he can beat this and so do we. Treatment can go on for quite sometime so this is to help with medical bills, compensate for both parents

missing work when necessary, parking fees,

food, etc. whatever they will need on this journey.

I know things are tough economically for a lot of people right now, so if you are unable to
