Help My Mom Have A Beautiful Funeral She Deserves

Donation protected
I don't know where to begin with all of this. I am truly devastated about what I am about to tell you. My mom is 41 years old, widowed with 4 daughters she raised by herself. She had a really hard life but she never gave up. She is the strongest woman I have ever met in my whole entire life. Not because shes my mother, it's just a true statement. A couple years ago she lost her way through life with a very bad drug addiction. She lost everything she ever owned and ever loved. She ended up homeless, living in her car. It was really hard to get a hold of her and really hard to find her. Then one day she wanted to change her life for the better. She has been clean for a whole year! She even started to go to school to become a vet tech that she always wanted to be. While she was homeless.

Recently she had two grand babies that she was so excited for.  She wanted to be the greatest grandma to them and wanted to be in their life as much as she could. Well on Saturday, Oct 12th at 10pm she came from Colorado Springs to my house in Aurora to visit her grandson and I for the weekend. This was her 3rd time seeing him. Later that night she left to go to sleep and promised me she will see me in the morning, we said our love you's and goodbyes. Before I knew it her boyfriend was pounding at the door at 8 in the morning telling me that I needed to go to the hospital cause mom had a seizure and stopped breathing. I couldn't believe it! I thought it was a joke, but it seriously wasn't. So, I rushed to the hospital and waited forever to see her and to find out what happened to her.

The doctors told me that she went into cardiac arrest, stopped breathing, didn't have any oxygen to her brain for 15 to 17 minutes and from not having any oxygen caused her to have seizures non-stop. They had to give her CPR twice and put her on a ventilator. She had a cat scan which showed severe brain damage. They were able to stop her seizures the next day but showed no response to anything as in  her eyes weren't dilating or had any motor functions. She showed no signs of getting any better. On Oct 16th, she had an MRI and showed that all of her brain except a little bit of the stem was completely damaged. Doctors said she'll never be the same Cindy that we all knew ever again, that she would stay exactly the same way that she is now. Not being able to breathe on her own, talk, eat, smile and or move ever again. She is brain dead and tomorrow the 18th we are going to have to take out her tubes for her to be finally be at peace with our father Christopher Hopkins who died in 2005.

So please I am begging all of you to please help us young girls to raise money for a beautiful funeral for our mother that she deserves. We need all the help that we can get. We appreciate your time reading this and helping out. So please share this with anyone and everyone. I am truly torn apart from all of this. We love you mom and we will she you again. It's not a goodbye it is a see you later. <3
