05 Boys to USYS National League P.R.O.

Congratulations to NUSA's 2005 Boys Maroon team for qualifying for the USYS National League P.R.O. The National League P.R.O. represents the top level of team-based competition within the USYS National League, and it features play for boys and girls teams in the 14U (2009), 15U (2008), 16U (2007), 17U (2006), 18U (2005) and 19U (2004) age groups. This is the first time a NUSA boys' team has competed in this competition.

Qualifying for the USYS National League P.R.O. is a massive accomplishment and historic achievement. Still, it comes with many challenges for a non-profit whose core values are centered around affordability and accessibility and not on making a profit.

NUSA’s Mission /Vision/Philosophy has always been to keep the game as affordable and accessible (as much as possible) for all players regardless of socioeconomic background. We need your help to get these young men on the U18 team to the National League Pro events.

Without help from our membership and the community, this will not be possible.

National League P.R.O. is very expensive for everyone involved, and like many teams throughout the organization, approximately 50% of the players on the team are on financial assistance.

We have not yet determined the final costs but expect to pay around $23,000 to cover hotels and food expenses for the players and coaches for the two events (Orlando, FL and Mesa, AZ).

Any funds raised that are not needed for the National League P.R.O. competition will go directly to our scholarship fund for the 2022-23 season.
