С тяжёлым сердцем сообщаем о внезапном уходе к Господу нашего дорогого дяди, мужа, отца, дедушки и служителя — Андрея Андреевича Дорохова.

Андрей Андреевич вместе со своей женой, Диной Фёдоровной Дороховой-Слободенко, прилетели в США, чтобы на время побыть рядом с младшей дочерью, которая переехала сюда два года назад в связи с политической обстановкой, поддержать её и порадоваться внукам. Планировалось, что они пробудут здесь около двух месяцев. Никто и представить не мог, что земной путь Андрея Андреевича завершится так неожиданно и вдали от дома.

2 февраля 2026 года Господь призвал его в вечные обители. Его уход стал огромным потрясением для всей семьи. Все дети, кроме одной дочери, живут на родине, и желанием всей семьи является исполнить последнюю волю Андрея Андреевича — быть похороненным в том месте, где он прожил большую часть своей жизни и нёс служение.

Андрей Андреевич был пастором более 20 лет. Это был человек, не выпускавший Библию из рук. Каждую свободную минуту своей жизни он посвящал чтению Слова Божьего, молитве и служению людям, вдохновляя и поддерживая каждого, кто был рядом. Он воспитал многие поколения христиан, в том числе и меня — Давида Слободенко.

Его детство прошло в семье пастора, в тяжёлом физическом труде, постоянном служении и поклонении Богу. Большим ударом для семьи стала трагическая гибель малолетнего сына Илюши, что ещё больше утвердило Андрея Андреевича в посвящённом служении. Вместе с женой они открывали свой дом для многих нуждающихся: принимали гостей, помогали бездомным и зависимым, кормили, мыли, лечили и выхаживали. В последние годы, несмотря на возраст, они продолжали активно помогать пострадавшим и нуждающимся, собирая продукты, вещи и отвозя помощь тем, кто оказался в беде.

Он никогда не жаловался на здоровье, напротив — всегда заботился о других. Его жизнь была наполнена трудом, молитвой и изучением Писания. Он с любовью проповедовал Слово Божье, терпел притеснения без ропота и не держал зла. Он либо трудился, либо отдыхал после труда, либо молился, либо читал Библию.

В день своей кончины Андрей Андреевич остался дома с внуком, пока Дина Фёдоровна с дочерью Руфью и месячным малышом отлучились по делам. По возвращении они нашли его на полу. Прибывшие медики констатировали смерть. Для всех это стало полной неожиданностью. Но мы твёрдо знаем и верим, что наш дорогой Андрей Андреевич сейчас у своего любимого Господа.

Ему было 75 лет. Он оставил после себя жену, 7 детей, 21 внука, 3 правнуков, 5 братьев-служителей и 4 сестёр, а также множество людей, чьи жизни были изменены его любовью, верой и служением.

В связи с произошедшим семья несёт большие и внезапные расходы, связанные с прощанием и транспортировкой тела. Эти расходы являются неподъёмными для детей и близких. Поэтому мы обращаемся ко всем, у кого есть расположение сердца помочь в этот тяжёлый момент. Любое, даже самое небольшое пожертвование и каждая молитва станут огромной поддержкой и выражением вашей любви.

The Story of Andrey Andreevich Dorokhov

Hello dear friends!

With a heavy heart, we inform you of the sudden passing to the Lord of our dear uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and minister — Andrey Andreevich Dorokhov.

Andrey Andreevich, along with his wife, Dina Fedorovna Dorokhova-Slobodenko, arrived in the USA to spend time with their youngest daughter, who moved here two years ago due to the political situation, to support her and enjoy their grandchildren. They planned to stay for about two months. No one could have imagined that Andrey Andreevich's earthly journey would end so unexpectedly and far from home.

On February 2, 2026, the Lord called him to his eternal home. His passing has been a huge shock to the entire family. All of his children, except for one daughter, live in their homeland, and the family's wish is to fulfill Andrey Andreevich's final request — to be buried in the place where he lived most of his life and carried out his ministry.

Andrey Andreevich was a pastor for over 20 years. He was a man who never let the Bible out of his hands. Every free minute of his life was dedicated to reading the Word of God, prayer, and serving people, inspiring and supporting everyone around him. He raised many generations of Christians, including myself — David Slobodenko.

His childhood was spent in a pastor's family, defined by hard physical labor, constant service, and worship of God. A major blow to the family was the tragic death of his young son, Ilyusha, which only further strengthened Andrey Andreevich's commitment to ministry. Together with his wife, they opened their home to many in need: welcoming guests, helping the homeless and those struggling with addiction, feeding, washing, treating, and nursing them back to health. In recent years, despite his age, they continued to actively help victims and those in need, collecting food and clothes and delivering aid to those in distress.

He never complained about his health; on the contrary, he always took care of others. His life was filled with work, prayer, and the study of Scripture. He lovingly preached the Word of God, endured oppression without grumbling, and held no grudges. He was either working, resting after work, praying, or reading the Bible.

On the day of his passing, Andrey Andreevich stayed home with his grandson while Dina Fedorovna, their daughter Ruth, and a month-old baby were out on errands. Upon their return, they found him on the floor. Medical responders pronounced him dead. This came as a complete surprise to everyone. But we know and believe firmly that our dear Andrey Andreevich is now with his beloved Lord.

He was 75 years old. He leaves behind his wife, 7 children, 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers in ministry, 4 sisters, and many people whose lives were changed by his love, faith, and service.

Due to these events, the family is facing large and sudden expenses related to the memorial and the transportation of his body. These costs are overwhelming for the children and loved ones. Therefore, we are reaching out to anyone who feels moved in their heart to help during this difficult time. Any donation, even the smallest, and every prayer will be a huge support and an expression of your love.
