Stephen Michael Ronge Sr Funeral Expenses
Donation protected

My name is Brian Ronge and I am the proud son of Stephen Michael Ronge Senior. On March 9th 2019, my family and I suddenly lost him due to an apparent heart attack he suffered while in our childhood home.
Stephen was a Navy Veteran from the Vietnam War Era. He received the National Defense Service Medal and was honorably discharged after 6 years of combined military service.
He was also unconditionally devoted to God and the Catholic Church. He prayed regularly for his family, friends and anyone who needed his prayers. He was beloved by his community, his church, and above all by his family.
My dad was a simple and selfless man and the sole income provider for our family. He was not by any means a wealthy man, yet he was tremendously rich in his heart. His love was unconditional and he was selflessly devoted to his family and anyone that was in need. As a child, I can remember eagerly waiting on him to come home from working endlessly to provide for us all. As he walked through the front door, my siblings would hold on to his legs and I would jump into his arms. We were all so happy that “Daddy was home!” My dad was always there to lift our spirits, support us in our endeavors, and listen to our troubles. He was an inspiration and adored by all that knew him, especially his eleven children and twenty-four grandchildren whom he helped care for along side of my beautiful mother Amparo Ronge.
In the coming weeks, we will hold services for him at his parish, Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmdale, California and lay him to rest at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California. He will be greatly missed, but his gentle and kind soul will live on with us forever. Even in death, his main priority was to not burden his family. He asked for a simple service and burial. Unfortunately, it is still too much for my family to endure. I am asking for any contribution that you are able to give; no amount is too small. Your contribution will be used to help us honor my dad and give him the hero’s farewell that he deserved.
